The most famous colours leading soccer teams play inFootball kits are pretty much as legendary as the teams that play the sport. Read the free guide further down the page as we discuss some legendary strips.
With regards to famous football kits, the most iconic of them all belongs to perhaps one of the greatest teams to ever play the sport. The all-white Real Madrid kit is honestly famous. Ever since its establishment in 1902, the Spanish club has consistently played in the iconic all-white strip – except for one year where its home kit included black shorts (that project was scrapped just 1 year later). Seeing as the side is perhaps the best club in the world, it should come as no great shock that their kit is so different to all the others – a fact that the Real Madrid president likely appreciates. The club’s away colours are traditionally purple or blue but without a doubt, its supporters and general soccer addicts around the globe will consistently affiliate the club with the regal white strip. After all, a number of the world’s most brilliant players have put on the legendary kit.
Football kits come in all assorted forms and some are more identifiable than others. Take AC Milan as an example. The red and black stripes are synonymous with the magnificent Italian club. If truth be told, many different teams around Europe (and the globe) play soccer in the red and black stripes, but none of us will think of any of them before the Italian team. A fact that the new AC Milan owner is definitely very proud of. Though not the force it was previously, the club continues to be one of the top 10 football clubs in the world, and the red and black colours have been used by the club since it was first established in 1899. They were apparently picked to represent the players' fiery passion (with the red) and the opponents' fear to challenge the club (with the black). There is no doubt soccer enthusiasts will ever mistake the red and black stripes for being any other squad.
One of the most supported football clubs in England, a very happy point for the Chelsea FC owner unquestioningly, plays in royal blue. The all-blue strip grew to be exceptionally legendary in the last 10 years or so, when Chelsea got to such prosperous heights that it had not quite seen before. Established in 1905, the club has always played in blue. That said, in its beginning years it played in a much lighter blue and the all-blue kit was only created in the 1960s. The club is undergoing somewhat of a transitional stage at the moment after years of dominance, but experts believe that there is no doubt the team will be able to be back on top once more and its followers will take pleasure in viewing footballers in the famous royal blue raising trophies again.
